Gender Swapped Rogue, Gay Iceman, current Marvel comics are dying and with people in current comic industry at Marvel. I'd hate to see what they do with X-Men film rights. In a better since if I was to go X1, X2, (hate to say this) X3 and then go straight to Logan. It's a decent time of events.

Exactly, there are many ethnic characters I like that don't fit narrative because they are "Inclusive".

As a kid I never had a forethought on race, hell I didn't get Lando because he was black. I got him because he was Lando and he completed my adventures of the stories I made up in my living room. Even when Prequels came around I found my favorite characters being Clones and Jango Fett.

Now a days I feel like if AOTC came out today they'd highlight the Clones were Kiwi and we had a Black Jedi. It's pathetic that story telling highlights diversity rather than the roots of comedy or tragedy.

While I don't want their agenda pushed off on X-Men with the possibility of race/gender swapping characters... it cannot be any worse like you said.

Makes me think of X-Men 2000. The first Black female superhero we got on screen was Storm... and she more or less was the strongest mutant on the team... and it never gets mentioned nowadays

The Jim Lee 90s team was the best team, and it was diverse... without attention being drawn to it.

I'd love to see them cast some short little tank of a guy as Wolverine, but you know he'll have to be leading man material. They'll cast someone with rugged good looks, >6' tall, with an at least somewhat recognizable name to build on. We might have gotten an unknown if Netflix had done an X-Men series.

He's got the right face for it. Hardy's pillow lips wouldn't look right on Logan. I mean if were going to get a tall guy, I guess Scott Eastwood would work. He's already in shape.

You would just need a 6'4 Cyclops to balance it out.

Shipp was asked by a reporter about the Disney-Fox merger and whether or not she would be excited for Storm and other X-Men to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Shipp answered, “I would and I wouldn’t because Storm barely has anything to say as it is. I don’t know about [the other actors] but like we never talk. So it would be really nice if we weren’t piled into yet another jam-packed cast, in which you only see me in the back of the shot like fucking sasquatch.

The X-Men movies are always going to have jam-packed casts because there are a thousand X-Men. Yeah, I'd have liked to have seen her do more, but she was added as a side character in the first place. She should be praying they decide to keep her in the reboot so she can keep getting a paycheck for doing fuck-all.
