That's what I assumed since you never hear of any of the guys that worked with Stan back in the 80s or 90s. I assume it's all newer artists.

And being expensive and time consuming is exactly why they would rather farm effects out to some dickhead kid with a computer. ILM and Winston together was the pinnacle of the field.

So many people wonder why the CGI in JP and T2 look so good and hold up today and they'll ask if the CGI has gotten worse. No, it's actually far better... but those were made by men that actually had the eye for realism and didn't put their stupid blue green filter on everything like Jerkassic Wurl. They understood how lighting was crucial for something that wasn't there, and they didn't go out of their way to make something hyper detailed.

The human eye can only process so much sure, but you shouldn't be doing all the work for the viewer to be able to see it. That was done in JW and it just looked like a PS3 game. I was completely unable to connect to anything in that film. The T-Rex road scene is a masterclass on CGI and practical. I still remember freaking out as the Rex is by Goldblum's window and then walks down the road and not understanding that they use the window frames to fade in the CG version. Truly ingenious stuff.

Decent. Overall prolly the best of the Post T2 sequels. It did drag at times, but T2 also does.... It is pretty much T1 with T2/T3 mixed in. The opening was nice. I never saw that footage before. I like the alternate future machines. Rev-9 was pretty kewl. And had the charismatic interaction with people like the T-1000 did. Skinny Chick is just a female Kyle Reece, though she doesn't bone the new John Connor. Battle damaged old Arnold looked awesome. Sarah. If an old wrinkled piece of leather could talk, it would look and sound like Linda Hamilton. Overall entertained. Unless they come up with some new trope, this is it. I don't need to see a protector movie again. Only one that could is a full on James Cameron movie. Looking at BOMojo, it has a soft opening so it might be the last for a while.

Even though Stallone has been making shit for roughly twenty years, at least he never pissed on his iconic roles. Even though Rocky VI shouldn't of been made, I feel at least was respectful. I didn't see the dumb Creed moofies and they're not even canon to me. Rambo was good but the new one was a bomb.

But Arnold cannot stop pissing into the face of the Terminator franchise. If you were a normie casual fan, you'd think there was only one skin model for all Terminators and it's Arnold.

Stallone's performance in the first Creed film is something you should see. It's powerful. It's his best performance since Cop Land. The movie itself is actually pretty good, although its a near remake of Rocky 1.

Creed 2 is nothing special.

Nothing Arnold did in TF pisses on the Terminator character. It was an evolution of where the T2 t-800 would have ended up.

I'm talking about as a whole of everything after T2. While it's more subdued... it doesn't somehow make the character better.



He should of walked away as soon as Cameron did as director.
