If this sucks then I say that's pretty much the end of any more Terminator films for a LONG time. T1 and T2 are all you need, really.

I cannot fathom this being as inconceivably bad as The Predator though. Even if it becomes woke, there's just no way it could be as disastrous as that.

I'm not a big fan of what what they've done with the new Alien films either but Covenant was better than Genisys and The Predator.

This franchise needs a reboot with someone who can actually be a decent stand-in for the role of the Terminator. Or just let it die.

Honestly, they can’t do these older sci-fi movies very well anymore. With the exception of Predators, Salvation, Prometheus and Covenant... they’ve all ranged from extremely meh to horrendously, eye-gouging bad.

The Predator may have actually killed that franchise. The Alien franchise is in a stalemate. Terminator is in a free fall.

I don’t know how anyone can stay positive about these old sci-fi franchises after the things we’ve witnessed. The Predator has scarred me for life.

I'll watch any Terminator, Predator, and Alien flick--even if I know I'm going to be disappointed. I haven't seen one in the theater in years, but I'll catch them on Netflix or HBO. My expectations for all three franchises have dropped considerably over the years, but there's a small part of my brain that's always hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised.

You're not kidding. I think part of the reason I sat through the entire thing was because part of me refused to believe that what was going on-screen was really happening. I kept thinking, "This can't be the actual movie. They have to be setting everyone up with a goofy start then it'll get serious later." Nope. It was consistently shit the entire way through.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It really saved the best for last though with that Predator Iron Man suit. Jesus Christ.

It could have been even worse - Studio ADI revealed that the pod originally contained a cryogenically-preserved Ellen Ripley. How the fuck that was supposed to work is beyond me.
