2019 STAR WARS Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

As someone who actually really liked TFA and TLJ, I thought this was bad.

You can tell they didn’t know what to do for this. I’m genuinely sad because I wanted this trilogy to end competently, but the story group or JJ botched it. There’s no way this was a “planned” ending.

I can’t believe this meme was actually real.

At least TLJ has a pretty “closed” ending. I’ll just skip TROS on rewatches.

I want a Darth Bane movie trilogy or tv show. Those books are fantastic.

This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen, it is at least better than TLJ in a technical level, it didn't have as many choreography mistakes, etc. But it's still such a fucking awful movie that they should be ashamed to ask for people to pay to see it. Of course I saw it at home

Spoiler: The ONE good thing

There is only one lightsaber fight (which is incredibly stupid) and it was lame and boring. But I still liked it because Kylo was the winner. When he was about to end Rey he gets conveniently distracted by his dying mother and she takes advantage of that. But, he still beat her. I'm honestly a bit surprised they did that.

So. Two years to try to get back onto the road and they plowed into a semi. I don't think I've seen any SW in my memory that's gotten such bad reviews, especially prior to release.

PT are way over choreographed. Mainly the final battles. Although I always like the Obi/ Maul fight since Obi was angryz, you can tell by his tensing and untensing shoulders and slightly showing his teef.
