Pre-ordered both, but not sure I’ll keep Ginyu.
I got two Gokus as I might want both hairs displayed. He's super cheap so why not.

I grabbed the Kaioken aura effect as well. Can never have too many energy effects. Thinking about getting one more of each effect piece.
I kinda don’t want Ginyu, if I’m being honest. It’s great that they’re doing the team, but I don’t think I’m enough of a fan of the Ginyu Force to get the whole set. I know there’s going to be two more figures with the Namekian dragon balls—likely Namek armor Vegeta and First Form Frieza—but hopefully I can pick up a set of the dragon balls on eBay.
To that effect, I really want to cancel Tao Pai Pai, as I’m only getting him for the last Dragon Ball. If he was only $60, it wouldn’t be a big deal. However, at $70, he’s a pretty expensive meme figure with a dragon ball that completes the set.

Nippon-Yasan is so stupid. I’m not even going to bother dealing with them again. This whole Jiren thing has been a nightmare. Whatever.

Honestly, I think he looks great. I really don’t think this is the one they should have done first though, as the upcoming Ultra Instinct Goku doesn’t go well with him. Omen UI Goku fits this Jiren best.
Anyway, mine popped up in my pile of loot today at BBTS and the one the idiots at Nippon sent out (which I wasn’t supposed to be getting) still isn’t even on a boat/plane.
Also, I decided to pick up Shenron. I have a feeling he’s about to become scarce and he’s basically the cost of a normal figure right now.
BBTS got Jiren.

I like it but that's expensive for a toy of this quality. That's nearing 1/6 scale prices.
I remember seeing Shenron at Barnes and Noble for 50% off, maybe I'll luck out and the same will happen with this.

That’s the only way I would get this. Knock about fifty to eighty off this price and we’ll talk. I know they have to make their money, but this is one instance where I would only get the figure if it was heavily discounted. Same with Shenron.

I wish this Banpresto Oozaru was a regular brown one instead of golden. I'm not a painter or else I'd get one anyway and repaint. It's close to the same size as the SHF Vegeta version and half the price.

So, I think Nippon banned my account. I can’t even log on to get ahold of customer support and tell them to halt this order and take it back. I guess cursing them out and filing a chargeback is not the proper thing to do, when a merchant charges your card upfront and you end up canceling the very same week?
Honestly, I’m done dealing with them and their stupidity at this point. It’s their own fault for sending this shit out in the first place. Should have let me cancel this peacefully ages ago. I’d recommend everyone steer clear of Nippon. They have zero customer service skills and are apparently dumber than a box of rocks.

I saw that. It's really impressive. Figuarts better so producing some GT stuff as the designs in there for most characters are vastly better than anything in Super.

GT had a pretty shit storyline, but Omega Shenron, SSJ4 Goku, Vegeta and Gogeta were all badass looking. Baby Vegeta was kinda meh, looking back on it. Super 17 was the only other character design I’d say I like.
Super has some really cool and interesting characters. Sure, the SSJ transformations are just colors that revolve around the hues of fire, but that’s actually a neat concept, when you think about it.
Makes you wonder where the hell SSJ3 came from though. My guess is that it’s the lack of having a tail. In Super Saiyan 3 form, I bet an Oozaru would grow out their hair a fair amount, instead of simply turning yellow and the strands flaring upward.
