I wish they'd release all the episodes at once. DC does the stupid weekly thing, too. I just end up waiting for a few of them to be available then wait another few weeks for a few more. I'll watch the first one to check it out but will binge the rest.

This is Disney's way of anti piracy in some extent. A whole season released would be on the high seas in 24 hours. The weekly thing keeps people to come back to boost ratings too.

I forgot Hulu did it too. I’m so used to waiting for some shows that I forget Netflix is really the only one that releases a season at once. Even with HBO or regular tv, the only show I watched every week was GoT. Every other show lately i just wait for more episodes to air so I can watch a few in one sitting.

Not really. Those who avoid monthly pays and pirate episodic shows do simply wait for them like everyone else.

The oldschool weekly system's done to:
1) force you to watch the other content;
2) force you to pay monthly in order to watch episodes at release.

Even if you decide to unsub and wait for a season to end in order to binge... they're getting extra money still.

Ah, I didn't know that. Makes a bit more sense then.
Still, I will always consider "piracy losses" as myth and the "anti-piracy" crap as just another way to screw people over, inflate budgets, ect.

I didn't realise it was being released on a weekly basis. I imagine if Europe had it they would just release the full series...

I'm happy to wait until the start of January. Can just watch all 8 episodes together now.

Watched it last night and enjoyed it. I liked the Mandalorian and IG-11 and seeing more practical effects instead of everything being CGI. The Spaghetti Western feel fits the show perfectly so hopefully that'll keep going throughout the season. Also, I don't care what anyone says--I need a 1:1 figure of the thing at the end. That shit was adorable.

I don’t need the steelbook myself, but having consistent quality within the show itself is a plus.

It’s a shame the Netflix Marvel stuff was such a mess. The only sets I own are the first two seasons of Daredevil. Can you even buy season 3 or Punisher s1 and 2?
