If it doesn’t have Cavill in it, it’s irrelevant to me. Actually, if they are ditching all the DCEU stuff, then I kinda really don’t care about any of it. I’ll just stick to watching whatever Batman garbage they end up churning out. It’s the only good thing they can really do at this point.

Well, money talks, regardless of what SJW agenda certain types of people keep trying to push on normies and the well informed.

Go ahead, have your little tokenization. Turn redhead characters into African Queens. Make Superman Black. Get a mixed guy to play Batman. Erase Peter Parker.

And cut out characters people actually like, simply because the person that plays them said some things and spoke some truth. Cancel actresses for unfounded accusations and kill off potential shows.

Go ahead. Keep doing this, Hollywood. You’d think, after covid, Hollywood (and subsequently the theaters as well) would be hurting so badly for money that they would sideline all this agenda nonsense for at least a few years. It clearly pisses people off. It’s clearly patronizing, unwanted drivel—a notion that is shared by the vast majority of “fans” and typical moviegoers.

Hollywood is cutting down their money tree. They have been for years. Anyone remember 2017? It was the single worst year for them since something like the 70s. And there have been other years where they collectively performed quite poorly.

Racism, sexism and whatever fucking else was on its way out as the 90s came to a close. How are we back to cutting each other’s throats over this shit?

There are very few instances where I like race changes and gender swaps in official material. It’s pandering nonsense and most of us aren’t asking for it and don’t want it. It’s jarring enough when a new actor takes over an existing role.

The response to this reboot has been pretty bad. And many are only citing their reason for disliking it because Cavill isn’t attached. Just wait until they announce who IS. It’s going to be hilarious to watch the meltdowns, while WB scrambles to pull up their pants.
