If this is a PS2 game, I reaaaaally must’ve missed that era. There are things in this game that The Force Unleashed could not have possibly done in its time. I’m glad this is coming out and isn’t fucking Battlefront 3. Jesus Christ, that game is a joke.

I’m not seeing a huge difference in graphical quality. I’d argue that Battlefront II is slightly below this though, due to how big and open the maps have to be and the amount of players and bots are active in any given match.

In theory you could be right but in reality you're not. Despite the amount of players and despite the size of the maps Battlefront II looks way better than this game because it has a better engine, not to mention some textures of this game look unfinished.

Isn’t this also an early alpha? Given EA’s track record... they could have literally just put that content together since the announcement of the previous Star Wars game getting canned.

It is very clear that is in early Alpha yeah, it looks really bad. I usually don't care that much about looks as long as the gameplay is good. But from what I've seen I already know I'm not going to like this game.

I love the combat and how it looks like it is going to play. I had a lot of fun with The Force Unleashed. I just hope they don’t scrap half the cool shit the character was doing in the video we saw.

Not interested. I had been waiting on Republic Commando 2 since 2005. Nothing burger since Karen Traviss left Lucas EU and Disney takeover of Lucasfilm.
