Olivia Munn as Jill? lmao

That guy as Wesker would have been great. The other one is a german dude, he looks like Leon but he'd have the thickest accent.

Honestly even with the casting issues I’m glad they’re not following RE7 storyline... so over it with “fans” saying it’s the best re game ever, best horror game ever BS.

RE7 is the anti RE.

rOoTS

It's in an old house that has puzzles that don't make any sense outside of the Spencer Mansion, so no.

Because first-person mudpeople simulators are the roots of the franchise. Didn’t you know? That’s like saying that DMC went back to the roots of RE. It ended up being such a different game that they turned it into an action game franchise. They could have done the same with Outlast Evil 7.

I can kinda see it now. At least it’s a better casting choice than the other two. Jesus Christ. Why is Leon Hispanic? That doesn’t make any sense. I actually thought it was Carlos in all honesty. At least Jill is mixed. Although, she’s still terrible and probably going to be one of the weakest characters.

What I don’t get is why it’s only wrong when it’s a whitewashed character, which Hollywood has been doing since its inception? And funny how loud people are about “whytewushed” characters, especially when it comes to ones like Scarlett’s Motoko (it’s a fucking fake cybernetic body that’s not modeled after a specific race, you dipshits) and Iron Fist...

Iron Fist.

Dude... do I really need to explain this? Why do I even need to explain this? Am I really going to have to explain this? Are you people actually this goddamn fucking stupid?

And how racist and generalizing is it to assume that only Asians know martial arts? You’re wielding a double-edged sword on that mudhill, shitbags.

I wish twitter would fall off a cliff and take all of its users with them. In fact, I’ll push.

DC remake concept art. After re3r I don’t want any remakes from Capcom. I know there’s people that have speed run the game but I can only imagine how much cut content and how show they would make the game

I've seen that artwork circulating around these last few days, it's way too good. It looks like proper concept art.

As long as M-Two don't get their hands on the Remake it will be fine. Besides Dino Crisis 1 is a game that would be very difficult to get wrong, nobody cares about the story or how specific events play or most of the characters. They can change 90% of the story and most people would be fine with it, the game just isn't that iconic.

It would be good to bring this back and make it a proper horror game.

The first DC was heavy on the puzzles and less on the combat unlike DC2 so I wonder if they were to remake it how much would they change/add/cut. It also had different endings.

I think Dino Crisis needs to be a mixture of action and horror. During quarantine I went through DC1 for the first time to completion and honestly it's kind a slog to play. DC2 I think is better since it's way more responsive to play not to mention pre rendered backgrounds made by the RE3 team.

The first one was one of the most experimental survival horror games ever, they'd have to change a few aspects of the puzzles because they were kind of repetitive. I do remember a few of them being pretty tough, almost like an IQ test which can be fun but most people won't appreciate that.

Which makes me think, it'd be nice if they add a difficulty setting for puzzles kind of like Silent Hill back in the day, so we can choose whether to deal with that or not.

Yeah, I found some of DC puzzles difficult and frustrating the first time playing I couldn’t beat the damn game until I bought the guide, and yeah some puzzles are repetitive. I also found the mixing of darts etc pretty interesting. I’m sure they can upgrade all of that and also I enjoyed DC2 but it feels entirely different almost arcade-ish.

If I had to pin down one thing I don't like about DC, it's that the scenery is so fucking drab and boring. It's like being in the RE2 lab the entire time. I mean it's fine for a final area but it becomes really repetitive quickly.
