It’s Ethan again, when I played I played in the snowy village area against a horde of those “werewolves” (the run on the walls and rooftops and straight up flank you it’s insane). I then played a level in a castle of sorts, you’re pursued by these “witches” (They actually changed the design of them which is cool) and in my play through you actually kill one of them (not going to say how because that’ll reveal their weakness and would spoil the experience hahaha)

I never thought I would dump the series, but I think I am. It took me all the way to MGSV to finally say fuck this shit.

After Code Veronica is remade, I will be content anyway. Nothing that progresses the story after RE6 is worth playing through. I’ll just watch someone else.

If we get a code Veronica remake... honestly after 5-6 I stopped paying attention to the storyline. What happened to Steve’s body... is Uruboros gone? Lol see I don’t know. There’s so many viruses now... mediocre bad guys, I’m looking at you 6 villains.

They have to bring a significant villain back as in, a villain that can last for more than just a game. Alex in the only one who can wear Wesker's shoes, she can't fill them, but she can wear them. That's be the most interesting thing they can do. The rest is super meh

Yeah it's a shame but in the end I think things are better the way they went, I don't think Leon should be associated with anything related to Wesker or the Weskers beyond the loose connection they have through Ada, he always had his own side stories. So Alex being the main villain would have been odd.

The good thing about 6 is that almost all the happened in it doesn't need to be even mentioned in other games, all of it was irrelevant, Jake being the only possible exception.

That's a good mindset. I don't think anything past 5 is worth paying much attention to. I consider it fan fiction or side stories, I just barely care mostly.

I didn't find it "scary" much at all. I mean I felt a little frazzled since the camera hides a lot but I found the Molded very dull and when every enemy looks exactly the same, I just became numb to it. I really got bored with it by the time you go to the ship. I tried replaying it after I beat it but I only got a little bit into it before shutting it off. I stupidly bought all the DLC for it and I got nothing out of that either. I bought the Zoe DLC and didn't even finish it.

He also mentioned that apparently this was originally supposed to be Revelations 3 but test players loved it so much they decided to make it RE8.

Yeah, that was one of the major leaks from like a week ago. It was Rev3 that's why Alex or Natalex is back, because she was gonna be the main villain. And I know everyone who played it said it's awesome but all I really want to know now is if this is Alex
