I completed the campaign. I gotta say, they did a fantastic job on all the 93 stuff. There's so much love put into absolutely everything. They even gave us the classic signs.
I still need to complete it, after finding the Sandbox with everything on it I said fuck the campaign. lol
Yes there's a lot of love in it, for once the game feels like Jurassic Park. That being said I still have some gripes and critiques.
One being is some more decorations and stuff, I know we just got some. However I'm talking down the line of a year.
The Log for the Gallimimus would do well. Fallen trees for disaster areas.
The Power Generator is nice, but a Maintenance Shed like the Small Restroom in Signs would be great with already added fencing.
Speaking of fencing, was bummed out the only screen used ones we got were the JP3... We need old ones with with power lights red and blue.
Since I noticed we got 3, which if you switch over to Jurassic World You have 6. Light Fence, Light Electric Fence, Medium Fence, Medium Electric Fence, Large Concrete Fence, and Large Electric Concrete Fence.
To have the original fence the best bet Frontier would do is make those Light Electric Fencing. If they add Medium Fence style with no Electricity or Concrete versions in JP DLC that's something I'd think would fit.
Plus yeah they need to fix the Explorers. I think they rushed the model out or didn't acquire Ford license; but we'll see. Though as I pointed out the rear end is smaller, the bar across the overhead window is inaccurate, the antenna are behind the rear doors, the fog lamps got completely reversed with circle ones on overhead window and squares one front bumper, and no spiral rims. For right now the car looks like the Toy Version somewhat.
And the tour needs to be drive-able... I don't know why Gyrospheres and the Truck Safari were and this aren't (I get the "On Track" Idea) but be nice to slow car down for better viewing. Lastly a crushed JP Explorer as a place-able item so I can add it to Rex Paddock.
For future TLW:JP Mercedes as Skins for Car would be kool and even the RV as place-able item. Hell next DLC could be Return to Isla Sorna, give us some nice InGen (Which annoyed Helicopters DO NOT have logo on side for Arrival). buildings like JP's version of Science, Security and such. Already noticed upgraded Ranger Station is the Gas Station form TLW:JP.
Island generator wise, we need some better options. I noticed the hill mechanics are VERY sluggish and not easy to sculpt the terrain. Plus add the Shale Terrain to Nublar, it looks like Small Rocks which will help the look of rivers in the Redwood Forests you can now build. I don't know if we'll ever see a Waterfall mechanic (In this game at least), however my Helipad DESPERATELY needs it. I think if they made it where it connects to certain heights of elevation to water ratio it could work. That's a coding standpoint though. Lastly this may sound harsh and probably never be done, but John Hammond's target Audience was KIDS... all I see are adults. We need kids to flush the Island out and make sense. Course seeing a kid be eaten by a Raptor I'm not sure how ESRB rates that... but way things are it can't be much worse than the Rex Swallowing a dude whole.
At the moment still stands as 8.5/10 now when originally I gave this game a 5.5/10. Frontier needs to just focus on bug fixes and the like cause rest is just pure imagination of what can we do next?
