Such people quote it out of context and actually buy related merch.

That's how I took it. You can't compare it to classic action films since it's not trying to be that. The film is nothing more than a long form segment of the news clips from Robocop.

RoboCop was pretty damn straight forward, the satire there isn't breaking any walls.
ST was, and still is, an awesome meta-project. No one ever did something so trolly before or after.

Outer Worlds is kinda meh. I have it. Wasn’t really terribly impressed. Sekiro was fun, but From Software has kind of become like Tom Brady... “oh, another trophy.”

Who sat down and said, with a straight face, “you know what would make a really great game... Fast and Furious”? Those are definitely early PS3 era character models. The cars look decent, but why was this necessary? It’s clearly a cash-in.

Both Need For Speed and Forza do it better. There’s almost no reason to even play other racing games. Maybe Gran Turismo.
