When they showed off the initial print, it looked terrible, but I’m glad it doesn’t look close to the art. This is just beautiful, and has perhaps the best paintwork I’ve seen on a SS prototype as well.
I really hope this is the outlier where they match the proto... because even though I stopped with statues there’s no way I could resist coming back for this one.

Love me some Dejah Thoris. This is one of the few statues that I would truly ever get. She looks fantastic. I really wish Phicen would hurry with the 1/6 version already.
I want one, but I don't trust that Sideshow will nail the production piece. I'll wait for in-hand pics.

Anyone getting this or get it already? I might cancel it. Looking at some in hand photos really make it look like the same lazy shit they did with Ripley. The Eleven heads on eBay are better.

I got mine in. I like it.
That said, I used some of the last of my Sideshow rewards on it, so I only paid like $190 after shipping. Would I be thrilled about paying full price? Probably not.
The sculpt is definitely there. The paint is good. I want to say it’s more accurate than Neo, but it still has a wee bit of Hot Toys’ artistic flare. I would say the Eleven heads are hard to beat though. Their Jon Snow head is STILL far and away better than the new upcoming ThreeZero Jon Snow. However, in the case with John Wick, it’s beneficial to have both, seeing as they can represent unique appearances in the films.
The suit is amazingly done. Almost no issue with it. We’ll see whether or not it ends up ruining the figure underneath though.
The accessories are great. He comes with more crap than any figure I’ve picked up in a good while. I did fudge the hammer on the 1911 when I was messing with the slide (thinking the hammer was fully functioning like with some of their past guns), but I just dabbed some new silver paint on it and now it’s as good as new.
I’d say get it, if you have rewards points with Sideshow, AlterEgoComics or whoever. Ebay has the ebay bucks thing. Might be able to score one cheaper there as well.

I like it better than Neo. It’s not perfect though.
I've been meaning to buy it for awhile. I have a kit-bashed one, but I love the accessories that come with the HT. I love the films anyway so I don't mind having two John Wicks on the shelf.

Be careful with the 1911. The slide will jack up the paint on the hammer. It’s best to just leave that one alone, honestly.
I usually don't mess with the accessories too much anyway. I think it's cool that most 1/6 guns come with removable clips or working parts though.

My wallet is going to be crying. I have to at least get that Conan. And I know I’ll be getting Lion-O and the transformed Mumm-Ra. Not sure about Tigra, Cheetara or Panthro just yet.
As for TMNT, this will supplement the Neca line for me, with any luck. If I can just go straight to BBTS and order them, granted at $45 a pop, then so be it. I’ll get the four brothers, Shredder, Splinter, two Foot Soldier, Casey Jones, April and Bebop and Rocksteady and call it a day.
