The thing is though the last couple years they literally went through every Predator they original did as a 2.0 and the last was Wolf. Jungle Hunter is inevitable but it's anyone's guess when.

Getting Classic Pred would be a serious mistake if they were to make that, I don't want to have two nearly identical figures. And I guess Howard Chan likes the franchise, so he will green light more of these, in time.

That's the other reason I would advise against it. I have Classic and without modding the mask and getting some custom parts, it'll never really be a "Classic."

Modding the mask? Doesn’t it mostly just need some accurately placed weathering?

If you want it really classic, it needs reflective lenses.

You can just get some material and cut out a pattern and place it in front of the visor. I really don’t have faith that Hot Toys will ever make a 2.0 Jungle Hunter or a Big Chap. I’m more likely to win a small local lottery.

Better to get the Classic Predator now and add the Jungle Hunter kit, than to miss out on it entirely. If anyone ever does a proper 2.0 Jungle Hunter, then you can just swap out the mask on the Classic and have a battle-damaged Pred. Or sell it off. It’ll be worth even more by then.

It's good I don't even care about accuracy to that extent, I like the franchise but not to THAT much. The figure by itself is good enough for me

It arrived earlier than expected, it looks great. The only negative thing I can say is that both the shipper box and the figure box feel flimsy and cheap as fuck compared to other figures and the predator himself doesn't have as much articulation as he should but that's not a big deal. I guess my favorite aspect of the figure is the headsculpt, it's the best

Any franchise can be made into a thread for all collectibles. If there needs to be one you can make it.

I ended up having more fun with this figure than I thought I would, the articulation is still unacceptable for something that is supposed to be a figure, not a statue. But it's fine I still managed to get some nice shots, I'm really glad I got this one

I wonder if they’re going to stop at Cloud and Sephiroth. I’d like to see what their Tifa looks like. I’d get all three, but I don’t feel I need a Sephiroth in 1/6 scale. Just want Tifa and Cloud. It’s bad enough I’m getting the four main characters and Sephiroth in Play Arts Kai form.

Careful with the PAK ones, I've heard they look like garbage compared to the prototypes. I think pictures of the final product of Tifa are already out there

Well, Cloud and Barret were mostly tweaks to the headsculpt. That’s why they came first. But yeah, I’ve seen the news about the Tifa figure. There’s been some backlash about it. That’s why she got pushed back too, fairly sure of it.

And to be honest, I hate the PAK series. The scale is absurd and rarely fits in with any collection, but I make an exception for Final Fantasy figures.
