Yeah reason why Del Toros films worked is because they did their own take that worked for film. Although i loved seeing the reference in the new film, it was overwhelming at points because it's to much stories that are being cramped in 2 hours. A series would be best because each epison can be half an hour or hour long telling a specific story. I actually wanted to see the corpse done right not how it was done on film it loses it's meaning when it's cut short.

It’s more expensive than I was expecting for a 1/4 scale statue. I’d love to see Prime make a 1/3 version—probably wouldn’t be much more either.

God i hope this body doesn't crack after a while i would have prefered something like drax body, single jointed arms and rubber torso.

Yup hopefully it comes w more... then might be more attractive... as it sits it’s too bare bones for me at that price.

That is the main reason I won't get him(other than budgetary). I'm too afraid of disintegrating rubber

All of this stuff breaks eventually. Sometimes you can fix it. My Medicom stuff started snapping at every joint in 2014 and I had to basically give them away with other figures. I still have the X2 Wolverine. Ugh.

Yeah i guess it's inevitable that it will happen hopefully it can last us a year or more depending on how we take care of it.

It’s ironic that the six inch scale stuff tends to be more resilient. Less detailed, but a lot sturdier.

I’m not worried about it....my stuff seems to hold up fine

Yeah I'm not too worried either. I even have the dreaded GOTG1 Gamora and her elbows have held up fine, even with me articulating them at times.

The only figure I have which showed any degradation was the Alien Warrior from Aliens - like everyone else the rubber or whatever makes up his 'lips' became flaky.

I have all of the Guardians 1 Hot Toys figures. I’ve not touched them since they went in the detolf. I was extra careful with Gamora.
