Awesome looking figure. I still haven't seen the movie yet but unless I absolutely hate it I'll get this as a general representation of Hellboy in my collection.

I'm not interested in the movie at all but this looks great, I might get it too.

Went ahead and preordered it at Sideshow. Already got it on BBTS as well. Will keep them both unless i change my mind and cancel it on BBTS but I'm making sure i get him from one place or the other. $285 at Sideshow very pricey but for Hellboy i will drop the cash. Now that i have seen it the wait will suck. At least i will have the 1000toys comic figure to hold me over.

Honestly, I hope it’s delayed even further. Spreading out these toy releases is a good thing. There’s been too many releases piling on top of each other the last few years. Granted, it’s because of the sheer amount of crap being made.

I think it's a good time frame we have alot before it is out so everyone should be able to get their other stuff or pay off figures before this releases. Unless they have the endgame figures coming out the same time as this one then it will suck for most.

Statue collectors have it even worse. You have to have an insane amount of income not to stress about release windows for that mess.

Collecting statues is a bitch. They get delayed more often than figures then they release all at once. The worst is when they push out a ton of them before Chinese New Year and ship at Christmas or right after. I think I got five Prime statues in about a month’s time last year.

You could also not buy other stuff to save for the one. Lol i mean in all honesty that's why we have payment plans with certain stores set up. I would rather pay mine at once so that way it's secure and don't have to worry about it later. I know that can be a big no for some just because your putting down money and it will take a year before release and don't know if it will be good. But usually Hot toys deliver. The wait time is fine because i really wished they would release it sooner but it is what it is.

Watched the movie yesterday and I really enjoyed it, I’m not sure where all the bad press is coming from. The new figure looks awesome and I’ll be displaying him with the horns and crown and I’ll use the Mezco for a jacketed display

As a big Hellboy fan I'd probably be down for this and the Mezco version - but I absolutely hated David Harbour's take on the character. I don't think it could have been more wrong and inappropriate if he'd tried.

I don't think he was bad as Hellboy his acting shifted alot, at points he was great and at others it was horrible. They honestly try to have him copy Ron's version a bit which made his performance suffer. I actually hope he gets a second go and actually plays Hellboy as he is in the comics.

Yeah I agree darkbat, I hope he gets another shot at hellboy...but I think unless the movie does amazing overseas or there’s some contractual obligation there won’t be another hellboy film for a long while

I actually prefer if they went and did a Netflix series with Harbour that involves all the short stories from the books. Less of an issue to deal with producers.

Same here. I’d love to see them do more from the books. There are so many Hellboy stories to tell, and they could do as many as they liked if it were a series.
