It’s as accurate as they can make it, at this scale. The Banpresto stuff will always be far superior, on average than the Figuarts offerings. That said, I personally think Vegeta looks far and away better than the SSJ4 Goku. And thankfully, I managed to snatch one on BBTS. This selling out in ten seconds crap is just insane, especially considering the current state of affairs in the world.
It’s not that bad. Is it better than Vegeta? Nope. There’s some Banpresto stuff that looks like they came right out of the anime. These are close to that, but just like Spike, have their flaws. I don’t think Figuarts can ever get a 100% likeness. It’s not possible with articulated figures at this scale.
There’s always something for everyone with the Banpresto stuff. The main issue is scale consistency and, of course, them being static figures. You’re sacrificing a lot for accuracy. And in some rare cases, they’re not even that accurate at all.
Both Figuarts and Banpresto have scale and sculpting issues, but at the end of the day, you’re choosing which you like based on what purpose the figure serves. You can get multiple variations of SSJ4 Vegeta doing different poses. Or your can just get two Figuarts SSJ4 Vegeta figures and change up the poses from time to time. It depends on what you prefer.
Neither of the two options is cheap. While I have most of the Figuarts offerings (and doubles at that), I have a ton of Banpresto stuff as well. It cost a pretty penny and I’ve relegated to only collecting certain things in the line(s).
I stopped buying figuarts for that reason. Banpresto has securely made like 3 Goku's that I would call my definitive Goku and together they still were cheaper than buying an average figuarts (obviously some are cheaper or more expensive)

They finally make a SSJ2 Goku and he’s a fucking event exclusive. What a joke. And I don’t think it’ll be readily available like the last two years worth of event exclusives were, initially.
So, Android 16 is event exclusive? Fine. I’ve got him already and even though he’s pretty outdated in comparison, I’ll live. Already have Shenron and Fat Buu as well. SSJ2 Goku though? Why is he exclusive? I just don’t understand it.
And now, they announce Turles on PBandai. And he looks rather meh. Something is off about the figure. I’m not sure what it is.
That’s the way his hair is. It just doesn’t really look like him. It’s gotta be the face. Unless this is the Xenoverse version. It does not look like the one from the film.
I still haven’t ordered it. I want to, but I’m just having a difficult time justifying it. It does not look that great, in my honest opinion. They knocked Cooler out of the park. The old Broly figures were great. Bardock was even pretty good, despite some flaws. This figure is just so meh. I can’t believe people are foaming at the mouth over it. What am I missing?
Their aesthetic fucking stinks. Even old figures I used to like I look at with disgust now. They never really captured the anime look of any character of any figure besides the last regular Goku.
