Good. Here's hope there won't be any texture streaming on PC this time. I'm playing the 2016 game right now on ultra and the pop-in's are still f***ing insane and annoying as s**t.
I'm pretty sure I'll like it a lot, but I'll eventually go back to classic Doom and mods. Finally played Brutal Doom tho, the starter pack, really fun, will probably replay it in "realistic" next time.
I was never one to play Doom mods, I was always vanilla, but then I used smooth Doom and damn, I was hooked, played a bunch of TCs and then Ashes 2063 (which is awesome), and then I was "might as well do BD as well" and it was reaaally fun.
Also Delta Doom which kinda recreates the Alpha and Beta versions, with the helmet hud and everything.
I ended up just ordering all the parts for a nice PC shortly after HLA was announced, I'll put it together starting next year, this game was a minor reason to pull the trigger as well.
Anyone getting this? After watching sections of the first part of the game, I think I’m gonna jump in. Looks like a lot of fun, even despite the piñata candy bs.
I still haven't played the last one. I know classic DOOM is supposed to be played quickly but I much preferred the whole aesthetic and speed of DOOM 3.
I'm not some late joiner to the series as I played DOOM 1 & 2 when they originally came out on PC.

Wow, this looks awful. I have the Doom Slayer and it’s a decent enough figure—outside of him not being able to pose for shit, but this just looks bad. The color palette is far too dull and his physique is way too lean. I don’t think the horns are quite right either?
