Ah, so it's a "Small Soldiers" rip-off. And why does it look and feels like a combination of all bad modern horror films combined? Child's Play was never ever scary, just fun trash.

Anyway, pass. Will check it out at home, just to see how little of Hamill there is.

I guess you could argue the realism of having him continue to look like a cheap plastic toy throughout. The problem is that cheap plastic look isn't scary. Thats one of the reasons why the original transitioned into a more expressive human face.
