EVILFACE
Insufferable SOB
The Rock dropped on his Instagram yesterday. Enjoyed Shazam! but hope Black Adam and a bit more that sticks. 2021 is going to be stacked with comic book flicks.
I liked Shazam, but I wish he wasn’t so goofy. He’s supposed to have the wisdom of Solomon. I have a feeling I’m going to like Black Adam as a character more—unless they have The Rock cracking jokes. That’ll p*** me off.
You’re dead to me...i found shazam boring. very boring movie. cliche villain, crappy demons, silly ending.
the rock will make this fun
I didn't like it, in fact I just plain don't like Cap Marvel anymore in general.I liked Shazam, but I wish he wasn’t so goofy. He’s supposed to have the wisdom of Solomon. But it bothered me that they took the lowest common denominator to make Shazam, they didn't try at all, they wen't the modern easy route with the "kid in an adult's body" no wisdom of Solomon or nothing that would give the character some depth.
Billy was fine, I don't mind the idea of a kid who's an a****** due to a rough life, in fact, Billy's parts are probably the most compelling and human in the movie, along with his relationship with his foster siblings, but that all went away when he turned into Cap Marvel. And the humor was also just easy jokes, like Deadpool.
I suppose it's harder to convey the idea that Cap Marvel is more like an entity that is anchored to Billy and is called upon with the name of the wizard, more like a separate being, than just have Billy be Cap Marvel himself... Wait it's not hard at all, it's literally Ultraman (Japanese one)
