This is one of those films that I should be excited for, but I just find myself not caring after seeing that Fillion short. Casting him is such a no-brainer and them not doing it pisses me off.

Tom Holland? Nothing but Disney's Marvel and a few bad B+ films. He can't pull off Nathan Drake... he doesn't have ground to be a witty asshole. And since Sam was introduced who's gonna play his older brother?

I have nothing against Holland and I liked him as Spider-Man. It's just in no where shape or form does he resembles Nathan Drake.

Drake's a lovable asshole, an antithesis of your typical gruff videogame space marine/soldier. He's greedy, panics under pressure, could barely carry himself in a fistfight but you love him because he means well. Naughty Dog never admits this but he's clearly Malcom Reynolds from Firefly without the emotional baggage.

This movie has been developed for almost 10 long years and now we have a release date, so be it. I just hope I'll be proven wrong. Unlike most game series, there's really no real lowpoint for Uncharted- not a single bad game nor controversies, and it would be a shame if that goodwill is undone by a misguided adaptation.

I still can't see Holland as Nate, but all I have to go by with him is his role as Spidey. Maybe he'll surprise everyone, but I doubt it. He looks fifteen years old, and I don't have much interest in watching the character go through puberty.

I for one really enjoyed the game series and I agree that holland seems like an odd choice (he just looks like a kid and nothing like Nate) but I’ll wait for trailers before I decide....it’s gotta be better than dark Phoenix

Perhaps at this rate Tom Holland will actually look the appropriate age by the time filming begins

I'm glad I never fully got into the series with the bullshit they're pulling with the film so I wouldn't have agita over it.

Metal Gear has been in development hell since as early as 2000, and will likely stay there.
