I think Transformers needs to go away awhile. Specifically the G1 shit. How many fucking times can they recycle it already.

They should just make an animated series word for word based off of the IDW's original run before it's reboot. IDW's run of Transformers has made so many small characters with little to no actual character into shining leading roles. Did anyone actually like Thundercracker besides me before IDW came along? No! Maybe they liked his color scheme but definitely not because he was a "deep character." Ravage, Soundwave, Thundercracker, Galvatron, Cyclonus, Rewind, Prowl, almost everyone that IDW focused on was changed for the better and made them my definitive versions in terms of character structure. Despite the toys kicking major ass (seriously Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus Prime is one of the best Optimus figures in years) the SIEGE/EARTHRISE "animes" have sucked major nuts. They tried to make OP a more relatable and deeper character but in the end just made him an incompetent leader at best and a total fucking pushover at worst. I can't wait for this fucking trash heap of a show to end so that way I can go back to fantasizing over a Transformers Animated or Transformers Prime Season 4.
EDIT: Just a bit of perspective - I'm someone who grew up practically watching all the the eras of TF. I was born in 2001 and technically grew up with RID, Unicron Trilogy and the Bayverse but my Dad spoonfed me the G1/Beast Wars timeline as a kid and I ate that shit up. So no I don't dislike change in my TF, I just dislike change for no purpose or change for the worse.
