I liked Episode 5 as well, nothing much to say. I like the western tone of the whole thing, I'll keep watching this.

I skipped last week so I could have two episodes to watch tomorrow. I would have knocked the entire season out in one sitting if they’d released it all a once. I love it.

I should add, I'm not the biggest SW fan (my connection to the original trilogy is more about the toys, character designs and nostalgia from being a kid while watching them more so than loving the actual movies themselves). But I went into this show with the thought process of "it's a western.. in space.. with Boba Fett!" and it seems to be working for me.

I can see with the launch of the network how they wanted to string out the episode but next season they should just post the whole thing at once.

Also I hate that Disney+ copied Netflix's bullsh-t where they jump out of the end credits to a menu screen. I hate it so much. It ruins the experience. I don't know why they can't let us have a disable for that.

After 5 episodes (watching 6 in a minute) the best part about the show to me is that it's NOT like anything else (past or present) from the SW universe. Honestly, if it does go down that path in the future I'll probably tune out and stop watching. The whole force/jedi stuff has always been really teh g a y to me. Sorry.

So, has the release schedule changed? All of a sudden episode 7 was available on wednesday while I thought it would be friday. Does it have anything to do with The Rise of Skywalker being released yesterday?

Anyone else know if the final ep will be available earlier as well?

Yup.

The seventh episode was released on December 18, 2019 instead of December 20, in order to attach a sneak preview of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

Episode 8 is back to the Friday schedule, December 27th.

I haven't watched the new episode yet, but I read something that said there was a bit in it that would set up something in the new movie so they released it early.
