I wish I knew how many people are playing that game. I can’t imagine people playing besides some really hardcore RE/Capcom fans.

Is ROE loving that POS? I don't know what I hate more, their constant positive opinions or the fucking name.

I believe they gave it a decent to positive review. They pretty much drooled over the beta version. Pretty much when they do a review for anything RE they have more positives things to say rather than negative or they deflect anything negative and focus more of the “good”. Especially that JJ guy, he’ll praise anything RE/horror.

Way to make their opinions worthless, when everything is great then nothing is great. I figure it really is his choice to be that way because not everyone there is afraid to say what they think when they dislike something.

Sounds like some toy reviewers out there. I like almost all my collectibles, but when they have problems, they just have problems. This crap of just blindly giving praise and not pointing out obvious flaws gets old.

I get the whole not trying to be negative and seeing some good things in something, but they pretty much start with the “negative” and go into praising everything “positive” that the bad gets gets overshadowed by their ass kissing. Almost like, well it’s flawed but buy it because we got the game for free or we need Capcom sponsorship so we can’t talk really bad about their products. I know they’re a big channel, especially now that they merged with that other RE page but I’ve seen them trying to say something “bad” during live, or reviews but brush it off almost like “well, RE3 sucked but.... they gave us this”. They got a super hard on when the teaser for 8 came out. 🙄 JJ almost passed out from excitement.

Anyone who gets free samples to review is biased. Period.

This is why I’m glad there are reviewers out there like Anthony’s Customs who blatantly state they don’t get sent free samples, because they rail on the company’s products when they’re worth calling out as shit. ClipperKing used to be the go to for 1/6 reviews. He retired from it though and now there really hasn’t been anyone to take his place, as far as finding a brutally honest perspective on 1/6 scale figures.

ClipperKing had the most in depth and honest reviews I've seen, pretty entertaining too. I guess Dean Knight is a close second but his interests are too narrow for me to watch his videos.

ClipperKing was definitely a “tell it like it is” reviewer. He didn’t let nostalgia or clout or any other kind of bs get in the way, when it came to reviewing the figure. It’s a shame that more can’t be like him. You can call out problems with a product and still enjoy it for what it’s worth. Unless it’s simply horrendous.
