Same. and I couldn’t for Christmas so I opened my GC early just to play RER. Which I also got zero. Pretty much every re I own are ones I “bought” or parents bought me.

I remember my mom got REmake for me from some GameStop in NJ or some place since it was rare at the time. I really miss looking forward to new RE.

How can anyone love Ethan? Even the characters in Outbreak had more personality than his ass. What is wrong with people?

Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to put Leon in the center of the picture? and Jack behind? neither of them have been part of the saga for 25 years, it should be Chris and Jill at the center and Wesker in the back instead of Jack

Seeing that REmake picture reminds me how floored I was when I started seeing trailers for it. It’s the last game of the series that scared me to play. Bare in mind I was 15-16 when it came out lol.

It was the only game to ever make both me and my friend put our controllers down and walk out of the room, besides Silent Hill 3–the bathroom demonic part.

In the REmake, there’s a door in a hallway upstairs in the mansion that a zombie could follow you through. At first, it’s just a doorknob rattle and then it busts open the door and that eerie music plays. We were like “HOLY SHIT!”

It’s what sold me to buy GC.

I remember it was a Christmas present and I would hook it up when I was home alone lol.

The GameCube is the only Nintendo system I’ve owned, besides the NES. And for good reason. Resident Evil is THE sole reason I got that system. And I ended up with 30+ other great games.

I have to admit, as long as Ethan is not in the movie I'm more than fine with it. And at least they look recognizable but a bit too young especially Claire. But anyway, I also have to admit I'm glad Jill is not in it because I can't imagine her return happening in a movie, that would suck unless the movie is about her and her alone.

Instead of introducing new characters or stories wished RE7 had Jill instead of Ethan and the whole baker’s nonsense. I’m okay with Leon being in the cgi movies but hopefully no more Ada. That story is so played out now.

I only care about Jill, Ada, Leon and Wesker at this point. Chris has become a caricature. Claire and Barry probably won’t ever be in mainstream games again. I’m okay with them staying in the films and the Revelations games though.

I think Capcom needs to kill off Chris... or retire. These new characters are only loved because of the newer fan base but Leon needs a stronger performance in a future game/movie he’s become too... action hero. Ada’s mysterious life is yawn... it would be nice to actually get some development on her motives. Jill at this point is lost, forgotten. Claire’s last game wasn’t bad but not memorable but whatever hopefully they’ll redeem her character in this new cgi movie.

I'll be ok with Leon once he stops being the biggest simp in gaming history, it's really pathetic. And yeah since that is related to Ada I feel kinda tired of her too, she needs to go evil and die or just die, anything else would be boring.

But again, even this whole cat and mouse childish shit is better than seeing Ethan again, or anything resembling RE7. I just hope they don't go full retard with the action scenes like they did with Vendetta, but with Leon being in the movie I think stupid actions scenes are inevitable
