Personally JP and TLW are good for me. Attenborough's speech at end of TLW leaves a ending to ignore all the rest.

Agreed. There's a lot of fat that needed to be cut out of TLW and given more direction. It's all over the place in the middle of the film.

That's mainly because of Speilberg. Crichton was never known for sequels ever... so even his book of TLW was a push by Steven. By time TLW screenplay was out none of it matched the book.

And when you hear they filmed the Rex in San Diego was filmed crashing through the house after eating the Dog it shows Spielberg has no vision for it. Not to mention filming 3 films at same time, clearly Amistad was his top priority while consulting Men in Black.

He's his own competitor which make backburner movies suck if he devotes all time to one.

I didn't even know as a kid he directed the sequel. It feels starkly different.

Still find it hard to accept that the Government wasn't able to hunt down and capture/ kill the 20 or so dinosaurs that escaped at the end of Fallen Kingdom.

Going to be funny when there's 1000's of dinosaurs just turning up out of nowhere in part 3...

I remember when my grandmother got me the VHS tape from the supermarket since they had a movie section. I think I watched it almost every night. I kinda remember the Raptor scene in the beginning freaking me out.

The title sequence puts me right back to 93'. The thumping with the AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH is classic.
