Just beat it. Turns out I got the bad ending, but I think it was way more impactful. Really hope we get a sequel and it’s in the mainland of Japan.

Finishing it makes me want to read Vagabond again. It was nice playing a game this year that wasn’t a complete waste of my fucking time and was true escapist entertainment and not pushing an agenda. I played with the Jap dub, the Eng is unlistenable.

I really wish we could get a Miyamoto Musashi game going through his life and 60 duels.

I’m one of the few people I know that prefers the dub, if given the option.

Anyway, I don’t feel that RE3 necessarily pushed an agenda, so much as it just censored Jill’s outfit—cuz reasons. It was fun to play through a couple of times, but I have no desire to touch it again, in all honesty. It doesn’t hold a candle to the original—which is fucking sad.

The Last of Us 2 is one giant fetishist mess. Neil Cuckman was swayed from fucking up Last of Us Part 1, but sadly... with him being the one in charge this time around, he got to do everything he wanted. Which includes getting cozy with some of the cast members and essentially spitting on Joel and the original fanbase. The gameplay is relatively good. It’s a polished game, but the story is so bad it’s actually worse than The Last Jedi—by a lot.

Ghost of Tsushima feels like this generation's Last of Us Part 1, that’s for sure, and maybe even the swan song of the PS4. It’s gotta be in my top five games of all time. As for top five this gen, it’s definitely number one, followed closely by Witcher III, Final Fantasy VII Remake, God of War and Spider-Man PS4. Honorable mentions go to Nier Automata and Red Dead Redemption II.

Waiting to see how Assassin’s Creed Valhalla turns out now, since they basically overhauled the game. After that, I’ll try the Marvel Avengers game and Biomutant, but not much else is on my radar at this point. I cancelled Cyberpunk 2077. It just doesn’t look like it’s for me.

Were there any trophies that were difficult to get? Are you able to get them all in one playthrough?

You don’t even need to pick up all the collectibles to get it or beat it on hard.

I’m going to start Lethal difficulty tomorrow. It seems to have realistic sword damage.

Now this looks fun

I didn't even finish the main story yet, but I kept thinking how fun this would be to play with other people.

Legends is an entirely new experience — it’s a separate mode that doesn’t follow Jin or the companions from his journey, but instead focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player campaign focuses on an open world and exploring the natural beauty of the island, but Legends is haunting and fantastical, with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology and an emphasis on cooperative combat and action

We designed Legends to be an exclusively cooperative gameplay experience. You’ll be able to partner up with friends or via online matchmaking and play Legends in groups of 2-4 players. Each player can choose from one of four different character classes: the Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, or Assassin. Each class has unique advantages and abilities that we’ll reveal in the future.

With two players in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, you’ll be able to play a series of co-op Story missions that escalate in difficulty, building on the foundation of combat from the single-player campaign but with new magical twists that often require careful synchronization with your partner.

With four players, you’ll be able to take on wave-based Survival missions, fighting groups of the toughest enemies Tsushima has to offer, Including new Oni enemies with supernatural abilities.

If you can best the Story and Survival missions, you may be confident enough to take on the four-player Raid that will arrive shortly after the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, sending you and your partners to an entirely new realm to challenge a brutal, terrifying enemy.

It’s been so rewarding to see the amazing reactions from all of you as you play through Ghost of Tsushima. We’ve been watching so many of you stream your playthroughs, and can’t wait to open up this new way for all of us to play together! We’re happy to offer this mode completely free to Ghost of Tsushima owners as a thank you to our players, and we look forward to hearing what you think!

We’ll have much more to share on Legends as we get closer to launch, including details on character classes, customization, and more! Thank you to everyone for your support of Ghost of Tsushima so far!

What great mission this was, act II really is when the game picks up. And nothing is more fun that fighting the Ronin, getting the Kensei outfit was really fun

I liked that one and the final mission against the Khan. I only got hit once, and it was because I forgot to switch into the spear defense stance as the fight started. I absolutely tore that last section a new asshole.

The final mission of Act II is pretty good too, but I don't think it had the same impact.

But it does bring an interesting debate. I have to say, the uncle is an idiot in my opinion. They are ready to throw their lives away like morons for their own misplaced sense of pride and self righteousness. There is no such thing as "lowering yourself to the level of the enemy" in war, there is winning or losing. Riding an imaginary high horse won't save lives and it's not a strategy.

I learned from a man I considered my grandfather that courage is important but honor is subjective, you shouldn't care if someone disagrees with your sense of honor. I guess this is why this problem in the game was never a problem for me while playing. Jin's uncle and all the samurai are wrong and that's it.

Figma is making the Ghost armor figure.

I'd want a Kensei version or Ronin, I think it was Pop Toys that made a bunch of unlicenced samurai figures, they might go for it.

Kensei comes off like it's out of a Samurai Manga. I went through most of the game with it on.
