Figuarts is usually the most consistent, besides maybe Figma, but I can’t say with any certainty. Like I said, many of the Figma figures are based on anime characters and that’s hard to judge.

As for Mafex, they seem to be consistent now, but a few years ago... not so much.

Mafex is bae at the moment, with all those immaculate classic superheroes they got me drooling, and the have variety; American movies and stuff, they can be THE toyline if they want to.

They have to work on their realistic faces, but other than that, they're great.

Yeah, Hasbro has many of them beat, when it comes to the 3D tech. Figuarts is catching up and Mafex isn’t far behind.

I wish I could throw down more money on the comic stuff, but I already have so much of it from other companies. Outside of Spidey and the Hush Batman (and subsequent Superman, Joker and Catwoman) I don’t really see myself getting much more. Venom is tempting though. If I can get him on sale, I’ll jump on it for sure.

Not me man, I cleared out of mostly everything Superhero I had, sold all my Mezcos and other brands, literally just waiting for that Superman that just dropped, between that and Mezco's Conan, oh maaaaaan.

I feel like toy collecting is gonna get pretty amazing in the near future, I was starting to get jaded at it.

A little bigger than 1/12, can sometimes scale with Marvel Legends, so a Predator would be like 7.5 or 8".

For reference:

-Figuarts/Figma: true 1/12, so they're tiny, they're not gonna be 6" unless the character is really 6 feet tall.
-Mafex: a little bigger than figma.
-Mezco/Legends: Super blown up 1/12, they're almost not in that scale anymore.

At the end of the day they're all within the same scale and can scale with each other with posing and perspective.

Edit: Neca/StormCollectibles would be 1/10, entirely different scale, and it's much more noticeable.

I’ve kept most of my collection. I rarely sell anything off. It will likely be an issue in all my relationships. I’m a stubborn bastard.

That Hush Superman does look really good. It’s the only thing I’ve seen recently, as far as new announcements go, over the last two weeks. I’m out of the loop a bit.

I was in the same boat. But now we're starting to get really obscure classic stuff. Like the Mafex Jim Lee X-Men team for one. Third party stuff is getting bigger and bigger since the bigger companies ignore mostly everything prior to 2008 nowadays.

That Mafex X-men stuff looks amazing, I'm not super into Xmen, but I'm thinking about just getting that Wolverine.

Third party stuff is indeed getting interesting, I hope they take advantage of those 1/12 TBleague bodies. I'm waiting for Tony Mei to start making stuff for them.

I really wanted Tony's yellow and blue Wolverine but I couldn't afford what he wanted at the time. The Mafex is the next best thing.

I still need to get that Revoltech Gambit and Psylocke.

I wish these were 1/12 scale. Neca only does the 1/10 scale versions, so I don’t think there would be any real conflict.

I have that one. It’s one of my favorites. The Scar and Classic Predator (kitted with Jungle parts) still reign supreme though.

They need to do the 2.0 of Jungle Hunter already. It's several years overdue.

I remember getting the P2 Elder 2.0 and putting his dread hairband on and it peeled the paint off. I wanted to die, but I repainted it myself and if you saw it and I didn't tell you, you wouldn't know I did it. So stupid they made it that way that you need to slide it over them. It should of been on the dreads in the box already.

Wolf 2.0 was a let down in some ways but I'm glad I got it. I was toying with buying the original for years.

I don’t like Wolf enough to get the 1/6 figure. Same with City Hunter. I want to stick as closely to the original film and first AvP as possible. Although, we are never getting Chopper.

Also, if you want a 2.0 Jungle Hunter, you have to get the Classic Predator from Predators and kit him out with the Jungle Hunter garb. It’s almost identical to him after that. I grabbed one that was already completed, for a fairly good price, some years back. I sold my Classic Pred I had boxed up to pay for most of it.

I don’t remember how much the set was, but I got the kitted out Classic Predator for a little under $300, I believe. Which, by today’s standards isn’t bad. The figure itself is selling for over $300 right now. I sold my original one for something like $280, which essentially paid for the entire upgrade.
