Jeice was just solicited. I really don’t have any desire to own the Ginyu Force—in any toy form, honestly. So, he’s an easy pass. The only one I’d even bother with is Ginyu himself, and only because I’d consider him a pivotal character in the Namek saga. I’ve never liked any of their designs or their personalities.

Either way, they are shooting out pre-orders for Dragon Ball figures left and right. I almost can’t keep up.

I always despised the Ginyu Force, best scene any of them were in was when Vegeta smashed Burter's neck.

I wouldn’t say I despised them, but I definitely never cared for them. In fact, most of the villains from the Namek Saga are kind of meh, Frieza excluded. Then again, I think the Buu Saga and Super had some pretty damn decent villains, which some would argue against that.

Definitely getting all three! They seem to have slightly improved the sculpts on the Androids. Or am I imagining that? I’m betting we see a new Krillin soon.

I don’t think I’ll collect the entire line, because there are going to be figures of characters I just don’t care for—the Ginyu Force, Jackie Chun, Zarbon and Dodoria to name a few. I don’t like Gotenks either, but I feel like he’s kind of essential.

However, I’ll definitely be getting Bardock, Namek Armor Vegeta, Frieza 1st Form, Frieza 2nd Form, Imperfect Cell, Semi-perfect Cell, Kid Buu, Buuhan, Cooler, Cooler Final Form, Raditz, Hit, Kefla, Toppo, Evolved SSJ Blue Vegeta, Kaioken SSJ Blue Goku, as well as some of the battle-damaged variations of Goku and Vegeta that are specific to certain arcs.

Speaking of duplicates, Omen UI Goku will be the first figure in which I pre-order more than one. I have multiples of a lot of figures, but they were purchased on sale or well after the fact.

I wonder if Tamashii will dip back into the Buu saga again, sometime soon? I don’t expect them to go ham with it, but they very well may. It’s looking like they may go all in on the Namek saga.

BBTS listed Jeice. He’s only a whopping $90. Good grief. That’s cutting into Mafex pricing territory now. They’ve got to chill with that bullshit. It’s going to end up raising prices on these figures even higher. Look at Pbandai. They’re jacking the price up to match what BBTS USED to sell this shit for.

Yeah, instead of trying to get wholesale pricing from Bandai, they just slap the $20 profit onto what we/they pay on Pbandai. When the Pbandai figures are sold out and BBTS is the only option to get such figures, besides ebay, the higher cost they are charging will start to normalize and “justify” raising the cost across the board.

Fuck that shit. Absolutely fuck that shit. I already decided I was done with Mafex after they hit the $100 range. The quality of these figures is NOT worth anything above $80. Period. And that’s domestic pricing. The average price for these crap should be between $50 and $70 in Japan and that’s pushing it.

This is why it’s a good time to get out of the hobby. Between uncertain futures and job losses and the inflation that occurs in this hobby every other quarter... it’s not feasible to collect anymore—not like it used to be.

Snake, are you getting Great Ape Vegeta? Should be coming out soon.

Pretty sure we are gonna see a Porunga reveal next year, once a lot of the Namekian dragon balls have been revealed. I can’t remember how much bigger he is compared to Shenron, but either way, I don’t see him being much taller than the Figuarts Great Ape Vegeta, which is around 12 inches.
