It’s only getting remastered so that it can be bundled with the heavily delayed multiplayer they are finally coming out with. Because you’re right—who the fuck thinks this actually needs a remaster already? No one.

Also, calling it now, but the multiplayer won’t be that good. No where near the original multiplayer from the first game. It was fun and I was actually pretty good at it.

I didn't know that until recently. ND only pulls in a quarter billion a year and they spent that and more on piece of shit 2. And it bombed way harder then we realize.

I figured it would. At least it’s not a remake already though. The first game got a remaster a year after release, I believe?

This is a company that has fans that literally buy fucking everything no matter how redundant. It's such an easy market for them.

I get why, it was actually smart on Naughty Dog's part even if it did set a very bad precedent for them. The first game came out at the tail end of the PS3's life span, a lot of people skipped the PS3 and got the PS4, and the PS4 did some notable upgrades for the game. I think it was also marked down on release. I can imagine it helping tide over people till Uncharted 4 may have been a reason, not sure. But I don't like how soon it came out either it's Like they wanted to push the game to the PS4, but also wanted to stick to the PS3.
