Still not a big fan of the pose on this. Yes it's suited to the character however I feel a standing pose would have made the piece look more imposing, like he appears in the films third act.

ive got my custom Neca 1/4 scale and custom base for that look...

I had gotten one about a year or so ago but returned it since there was QC issues with it I couldn't ignore. I remember that the netting was busted but that was common.

Yeah, if you see that picture that I posted you can see around his waist there’s a tear in the netting. It was that way out of the box. Not really much you can do about it

I can't believe they haven't put an edition size on this yet.

I love the Neca Ultimate Jungle Hunter 2.0, but I can't wait for Mafex's.

No official info, but it's a matter of time, they're doing everything.

I also love my Neca Dutch but a Dutch that can pose would be amazing.

I probably wouldn’t get them. They would be out of scale with Neca stuff. Granted, they would be in scale with 6” figure lines.

Mostly, yes. They used to have a fair amount of QC issues and some figures still do, from time to time. I prefer them over both Figma and Figuarts. However, I do love me some Figuarts. They’re all expensive as fuck though.

Assuming they didn’t go full retard like they did with Suicide Squad (what damn scale were they—6.5?), the Mafex stuff usually falls in with Figuarts, which is roughly 6” scale. There’s been some exceptions, but otherwise they fit in with that range.

OK. So same size as NECA's.

Really wish someone else would pick up the 1/6 Predator license and give us a better attempt than Hot Toys.

Cool. What scale would there Preds be?
A little bigger than 1/12, can sometimes scale with Marvel Legends, so a Predator would be like 7.5 or 8".

For reference:

-Figuarts/Figma: true 1/12, so they're tiny, they're not gonna be 6" unless the character is really 6 feet tall.
-Mafex: a little bigger than figma.
-Mezco/Legends: Super blown up 1/12, they're almost not in that scale anymore.

At the end of the day they're all within the same scale and can scale with each other with posing and perspective.

Edit: Neca/StormCollectibles would be 1/10, entirely different scale, and it's much more noticeable.

I should probably mention that Figma is supposed to 6” scale as well, but it really doesn’t seem like it most of the time. The vast majority of their figures are based on anime characters and they really don’t scale well with regular 6” figures.

Even the Dragon Ball Figuarts stuff has a funky scale... within its own line. Gotenks, Kid Goku and Kid Krillin are freakin huge. And all the Vegeta figures are either too tall or Goku is too damn short. I almost want to say it’s both.

Yep, bad scaling is an issue in all of those brands, Mafex can very well fugg it up and make Predator too short like the first versions of Neca's Jungle Hunter.
